Approval of Postgraduate Program (Msc) with title "New Technologies and Marketing. Smart Packaging”
THE DEPUTY PRESIDENT OF TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE (T.E.I) OF ATHENS
Taking into consideration:
1. The provisions of article 80 No. 4009/2011 (A 195) "Structure, operation, safeguarding of
quality of studies and the internationalization of educational institutions”, as amended by the provisions of Article 47c of Law 4025/2011 (A.228), Article 5 (8) of Law 4076/2012 (A 159), of Article 34 par. 2 of Law 4115/2013 (A 24), article 34 of Law 4301/2014 and Article 98 of Law 4310/2014.
2. The provisions of Law 3685/2008 (Government Gazette A 148) "Institutional framework for postgraduate studies " (and in particular Article 6), as amended in succession with the
provisions of article 24 of Law 3696/2008 (Government Gazette A 177), of article 27 of law 3794/2009 (Government Gazette A 156) and article 37 par. 5 of Law 3848/2010 (Government Gazette A 71).
3. The provisions of Law 3374/2005 (Government Gazette A 189) “Quality in Higher Education, System
transfer and accumulation of credit Diploma Supplement ", as amended and in force.
4. The provisions of Article 90 of the "Code of Legislation for Government and Governmental Instruments” which Article 1 of the Presidential Decree 63/2005 (Government Gazette A 98).
5. The pres. 95/2013 (Government Gazette A 133) "Renaming a School and Divisions - Merge Sections – Remove Departments - School of Technological Educational Institute of Athens ", as modified with pd. 127/2013 (Government Gazette A 190).
6. The number F5 / 89656 / Β3 / 2007 (Official Gazette B 1466) ministerial decision "Implementing the
Credit and Accumulation of Credit Units ".
7. The number 2340 / 16-03-2016 (Official Gazette 832 /29-03-2016) decision to amend the decision no.
10455 / 07-10-2013 (Government Gazette 2700 / τ. B / 23-10-2013) of the appointment of Deputy Members of the TEI of Athens, delegation to the Alternate and their order of replenishment.
8. The Internal Evaluation Report submitted of the Department of Graphic Arts Technology to
ADI (ID No. 570 / 19-3-2012), which it had been approved with the no. 3 / 13-10-2011 decision by Ge-
Assembly of the Graphics Technology Department of Arts.

11. The fact that by the provisions of the decision there is no charge to the state budget, we decide:
Article 1
General provisions
The Department of Graphic Design / Technology Direction
School of Art Studies TEI Athens, organizes and operates since 2016-2017 Graduate Program
(MSc) with title "New Technologies and Marketing. Smart Packaging” to the provisions of Law 3685/2008 (Government Gazette A 148), as has been amended and is in force.
Article 2
Object and Purpose
Subject of the Postgraduate Program is Smart Packaging Technologies and their use for the needs of Marketing. Purpose of the program is that holders of the Master's degree to have the modern, appropriate and adequate high level general and scientific, technical and economic knowledge associated with printed intelligent packaging and to have the skills to take advantage of the above knowledge so to plan, plan, organize, to coordinate, to manage, to evaluate and to control marketing programs based on Technology and Smart Devices of the European Union. The main feature of the program is interdisciplinary combining scientific fields of advanced technologies related with printed smart packaging and marketing offering a modern curriculum that exploits the most recent international literature and on the other hand the know-how and innovations that we have developed in this area. The program is structured in such a way that graduates can take advantage of the knowledge either in the market by improving their native state, or turning towards him academic staffing research teams contributing to the development of the relevant scientific field.

Postgraduate Diploma "New Technologies and Marketing. Smart Packaging ".
Article 4
Categories of Graduates
At the MSc are admitted after a degree-graduates of TEI, Universities and Universities of national or similar professions recognized of similar foreign institutions.
Article 5
Study Duration and Time
Duration of the Master's degree defined at minimum three semesters of study. The first (1) and second (2) semester include teaching (courses, laboratory exercises and examinations), while the third (3) semester includes preparation and examination postgraduate research work.The MSc program accepts applications from students twice a year for admission, at winter and spring semester. The three semesters program is in parallel (winter and spring semester).
Article 6
Curriculum
The curriculum concerning teaching, research and employment for the acquisition of Master's degree is full-time and extends to three (3) semesters. In the first two (2) semesters of study taught compulsory courses. In the third (3) semester of studies, the diploma work. Each semester corresponds to thirty (30) credit units - ECTS. Every student is required to attend all the lessons and to elaborate his postgraduate dissertation, amount to ninety (90) credit modules - ECTS. The lessons are taught in Greek and / or English. Article 7
Number of Inputs
Entry of students takes place every six months, and shall be set at a maximum of twenty
(20) postgraduate students. In addition to the number of admissions are accepted and scholars, according to the provisions of article 4 of Law 3685/2008 (Government Gazette A 148).
Article 8
Staff
In the teaching of postgraduate courses, they may participate in addition to members of the Department of Graphic Design or other members of Universities domestic or foreign, as well as of other categories in accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of Law 3685/2008 (Government Gazette A 148).
Article 9
Installation
The Msc will be based on the premises of the Graphic Arts Department of TEI of Athens.
Article 10
Duration of Operation
Without prejudice to the provisions of Article 8011 of Law 4009/2011 (A 195), as amended
with the provisions of Article 47c of Law 4025/2011 (A 228), Art. Article 5 (8) of Law 4076/2012 (A 159) and of article 34 par.2 of law 4115/2013 (A 24), the MSc will operate until the academic year 2022-2023, when the possibility of continuing will be assessed of its operation.
Article 11
Operating cost
I. The total cost of operation of the PMS is estimated at (52,000) and is analyzed as follows:

Operating costs of the program, fees and allowances of the tutor, technician and administrative staff for work to be done , as well as the possibility of granting scholarships to postgraduate students after proposal .
II. The cost of running will be covered by two-subsidies, aid from research and programs in accordance with the provisions of the Article 8 of Law 3685/2008 (Government Gazette A 148), as amended and it is valid.
Article 12
Transitional provisions
All issues not provided here will be governed by the studies and by the relevant competent bodies
with the applicable legislation.
